Internal Comms, Vol. 6

It continues to be a very interesting time. I am currently in Florida where I met fellow Suspendable, Steve Friend, for the PBD podcast. I think it was a great episode of their show and I am very grateful for being asked to do it and continue to shine a light on the things I saw that have gone awry in the FBI. As “coincidence” [there is no such thing] would have it, Steve and other Suspendables, Kyle Seraphin and George Hill arrived the day after Steve and I for a separate interview. Thus, we all were able to rendezvous, and three of us were able to break bread together on Thursday night.

We don’t know for certain, but based on the surveillance experience I have, and the advanced surveillance training, in combination with Kyle’s similar training and advanced experience, we have a reasonable belief that we picked up some surveillance being done on us while walking back to the hotel from dinner. It certainly is not beyond the realm of possibility that a weaponized government would take such measures against “dissidents,” as history has shown time and time again.

We were also able to do an in-person episode of The Kyle Seraphin Show while we were here where George and I were able to join in. It got off to a loud start with a United States Coast Guard helicopter interrupting at the outset of the livestream while we attempted to make a scenic background from a balcony. Then, as soon as we moved inside, they stopped. Of course. 🤣

Givesendgo called me as I sat down to put this together as well. They prayed for my family and I, with a particular emphasis on discernment as we continue moving forward into this next phase of the path the Lord has established. Please keep us in your prayers in that there are still many uncertainties ahead and we know that “the god of this world” [2 Cor. 4:4] is at work and certainly moving to deceive and devour those who are not sober minded [1 Peter 5:8].

We pick up where we left off last week…links to news clips and podcasts from this week. Thanks for continuing to follow along this wild ride. Again, this list ought to make it easy for the increasingly weaponized and indignant government to dissect every word in order to further discredit and smear those of us who have spoken out about the corruption we’ve seen. Some additional notes/comments along the way and then something that has been on my mind much recently from the book of Psalm.

Epoch Times report by Joe Hanneman - overall great article. It was a difficult interview to get through. Some minor inaccuracies still, but the heart of the matter is accurate. For instance, the references to my training agent. In the FBI, the field training program is no where near as formal or as rigorous as a police department’s, or at least in comparison to the Waukesha Police Department’s was. Many agents, especially former cops, know this and see this error by the FBI as well, yet it persists. By the time I received the leads for the J6 case mentioned in the article, I had long been off training, and my former training agent was someone I considered a friend; I still do. He is a lawyer by trade, but was always rigorous in how he approached properly applying the law. This is why I took all the information regarding that investigation to him; in order to ensure that I wasn’t seeing things incorrectly. Nonetheless, that is more of an aside about the FBI’s training program than anything else.

This was difficult to talk about and difficult to share, but an important aspect of some of the strife that government retaliation created. That’s me holding a card that Gwen created for me a few months ago. I thought I had been doing a better job shielding her and the other girls from some of the difficulty, but, children are perceptive and often know their parents better than those parents know themselves. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the Gate.” - Psalm 127:3-5; and the gate is full my friends.

The PBD Podcast. This has been my favorite one so far. I think it has a lot to do with being able to do it in person. On top of that, good, probing questions were asked and the opportunity to dive deeper into some of the topics FBI whistleblowers have brought to light was really well done. Grateful to be able to have the opportunity to speak to a large audience/viewership; and it was great doing it with Steve Friend, one of my companions from the hearing and best selling author! I don’t usually read the comments on any of this stuff. But I was told that there were a lot of positive ones so I thought I’d wade into them a little bit. The comments were overwhelmingly positive and supportive. This one stood out the most: “These guys are national heroes, they need prayer for protection! I love Garret's conviction to tell the truth and walk in integrity even though it cost him everything. As a Christian, I pray my trust in the Lord can be as strong as Garret's when having to go against the culture. His daughters have such a role model!” This is a very humbling thing to hear. I fail my daughters, my wife, many others and God often enough with my own sin, so to see a comment like this, I’m just hopeful that the Lord will use me as He sees fit. No matter the cost; and I pray I can walk faithfully when that cost is high because it certainly can be higher than what has happened since the day I was suspended.
